Cachorros sits in 7.5 hectares-the immediate area around the house has been fenced off enabling us to plant shrubs and trees that are low maintenance. We have installed irrigation to several areas -pool area,pots and planters to front of house and the walled garden area that currently is used  for fruit trees-apricot,plum,fig,apple and pear. There is plenty of scope to make vegetable beds near to the walled garden. The water  is supplied from our own borehole and the irrigation is programmed by  a Hunter system.

To the front of the house is a large Holme Oak tree which is useful for providing shade when parking.There is a side gate  leading onto the side terrace with its shaded seating area where there is outside lighting for those summer evening BBQ’s.The built in BBQ has generous worktop space and storage space under-easy to put cupboard doors on.An outside tap and wood store complete this area.

Swimming pool

A path leads round to the fantastic covered  verandah – which is also accessed from the lounge-with gated steps either side down to the large paved area  surrounding the 15m  x5 m swimming pool.The pool has wide steps at the shallow about 1m deep here ,2+m at deep end. A shaded pergola , storage cupboard and poolside shower complete the poolside facilities.This large poolside area easily accommodates more than 8 sunloungers along with table and chairs for poolside dining.The whole area is surrounded by a wall the other side of which there is a storage shed and heat exchanger for pool heating.A path leads down to the pool room with the pump/filter and saltwater system .The filters and water softener for the water coming from the borehole are also situated here.
