Olhos d’Agua has a lot to offer couples and families in the summer, when entertainment, sunshine and fun are easy available and accessible. In the winter, the area remains popular with holiday makers or residents due to the abundance of warm weather, amazing outdoor activities and many golf clubs close by.
Note: There are 39 golf clubs in the Algarve and 15 of those are wthin a 30 minute drive from the apartment in Olhos d’ Agua.
For boat lovers, both Albufeira and Vilamoura marinas are only a short drive away.
There are dozens of beaches close by offering secluded coves or long stretches of golden sand. The magnificent caves around Benagil, one of Europe’s true wonders are close by too, with daily boat trips leaving for the caves from either marina.
Albufeira old town is always worth a visit. The old town is lovely with lots of shops, market stalls, restaurants, bars and cafes open all year round. The town square comes alive at night with music. The square is surrounded by trees and colourful shrubs. The old town restaurants cater for all tastes and budgets are so are ideal for a full meal or just a snack and also good for just a cool drink. The streets in and close to the square offer everything from clothes, leather goods, drinks and of course, all the shops needed for daily necessities.
